Questions and answers

What does DisputeDriver do?

It reads your credit report, points out items that may be wrong, and drafts a dispute letter to each credit bureau for the items you confirm are inaccurate. Then it tracks each letter and reminds you when a reply is due.

How much does it cost?

Signing up is free. Your $25 a month membership starts when you get your first dispute letters, and each month is charged at the end of that month, never up front. Cancel any time. When you work with a specialist, the price for each service is in your service agreement, which you read and sign before any work starts. Nothing is charged before the work for a service is done, and you have at least 3 business days after signing to cancel for free. An LLC filing is separate from the membership. It is a one-time purchase for each order, not a monthly charge.

How do I cancel?

Right after signing, you have at least 3 business days to cancel for free (5 days in some states; the exact last day is on your contract and its Notice of Cancellation). To cancel: open your order in the app and tap Cancel, or email support@disputedriver.com, or mail any written notice to the address on your contract. After that window you can still end the specialist's work any time from your order, and you pay only for work already done. To end the $25 membership, go to Account and choose Cancel my membership; the month you're in is the last one charged.

Can you guarantee my score will go up?

No, and nobody honestly can. The bureaus decide what to correct or remove after they investigate. We only dispute information you tell us is inaccurate.

Can I dispute errors without paying anyone?

Yes. You have the right to dispute errors with the credit bureaus yourself, for free. DisputeDriver makes it faster and keeps track of everything, but you never have to use a paid service.

Where do I get my credit report?

You can get your reports from all three bureaus for free at AnnualCreditReport.com, then upload them in the app.

How long do the bureaus take to answer?

They usually have 30 days from receiving your dispute to investigate and answer. The app shows a countdown for each letter.

What is Done For You?

Our team prints and mails your dispute letters by certified mail, with your ID and proof of address, then follows up round after round until you decide you are finished. You can stop at any time.

Why do you ask for my ID and the last 4 digits of my Social Security number?

The credit bureaus ask for proof of identity with a mailed dispute. We only take the last 4 digits, never your full number. Your ID and the last 4 are stored encrypted, only the team member working your order can open them, and they are deleted when Done For You ends.

Is my information safe?

Your account is behind a password, and our staff need a second sign-in step to see client files. ID documents are encrypted. We never ask for your ID or Social Security number by chat or email.

How do I cancel or delete my account?

You can end Done For You at any time with "Done with us?" at the bottom of your order. To delete your account and your information, go to Account and choose Delete my account.

Is DisputeDriver a law firm?
